Mahlatini was co-founded in 2002 by two friends, Greg Fox and Chris Goldring.

A direct descendant of the famous African explorer, Charles John Andersson, Greg’s love affair with his homeland began at the age of three, on a Sabi Sands safari with his parents. A veteran of over one hundred safaris, including tracking gorillas in Uganda and walking with the Kalahari bushmen, this passion for sustainable, experiential travel informs every Mahlatini itinerary.

A Zulu word that means 'lover of the African wilderness', Mahlatini puts nature, conservation and community at the heart of everything we do. Luxury experts, synonymous with peerless service and expertise, we draw on our rich first-hand experience of Africa to tailormake every single itinerary.
